Despite Canada's sometimes deserved reputation for producing dour, ruminative, 'nature as character' fiction, it appears that at least a handful of its citizens (the Canada Reads panelists) like their books funny. Although I haven't read the winner, I must agree on the liking funny part in general.To find out how it won the day, visit the CBC's blog.
